GEOLOGY

Sedimentary, metamorphic and igneous rocks stand tall as statues, reminding me sometimes of forest creatures, castles and monuments to time past. Sometimes they are soft, rounded shapes under my feet as I walk the beach. Their size and shape and patterns are ancient and make me feel small and insignificant. I paint my story into theirs.
